Our office is open 9:00 a.m. To 4:30 p.m. Daily, Monday through Friday, except on Wednesdays, when we begin our office hours at 8:00 a.m. Dr. Stephens is out of the office one day each week, but his staff is available to help you.

After office hours or on days when the office is closed, you can reach the physician by phoning 770.422.9799. One of our staff members will return your call promptly and will be able to take care of many of your questions. If she feels you need to speak with Dr. Stephens or the physician on duty, that doctor will return your call as quickly as possible.

To provide for your care with a minimal amount of interruption during Dr. Stephens' time off, coverage will be provided by other board certified gynecologists in whom Dr. Stephens has complete trust. Should Dr. Stephens be unavailable, the answering service will have one of these physicians answer your call. There are times when the physician will be busy with other patients and on emergencies so we do ask for your understanding at those time.

Our office hours are by appointment. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call the office as much ahead of time as possible. This will make it possible for another patient to be seen.

We want you to know that we are sensitive to the fact that long waits are uncomfortable. However, we do hope that you will bear with us if , infrequently, we run late since, occasionally, surgical procedures take longer than expected. Emergency illnesses require patients to be seen on short notice. The doctor will decide with the receptionist, about the best way of scheduling such emergencies as rapidly as possible, thus avoiding prolonged delays in the waiting room for others.
